Jeff Gunhus -SilentThreat – A Wild Ride

So if you’re in a Dollar Tree over the next few weeks and see a book titled Silent Threat buy it! You should buy it because it’s everything that Steve Berry says about this Jeff Gunhus book on the front cover. “With an aplha female herione and a tantaliuzing premise, this hard-edged, gripping thrillermatches wits and wiles, delivering an entertaining romp” Mara Roberts is the female herione and we meet her in the first sentence, which drew me into the book immediately……. Mara Roberts knew the Agency would try to kill her father the day he got out of prison;…

Now that I am semi back into the swing of writing blog posts, I’ll first try to write about the books that I am currently reading, or just finished. The first was internationally acclaimed The Lost Village. Rights for The Lost Village have been sold to 17 territories around the world including film and TV. And based on The Resting Place I’m sure it’s terrific! In fact I just checked the Ebook version out…

More Books! After a Trip to Book World and Goodwill! Yeah!

So if you complain about how much someone drinks , you don’t take them to a bar! Likewise for someone who over eats you don’t take them to an all you can eat joint. Finally, if you don’t like how many books someone has you don’t take them to places where they can by cheap books! This is the result when you do…… And it happened this past Saturday when we were babysitting our grandson Oliver. Our First Stop – Book World We made two stops the first was Book World in Cherry Hill, NJ. The store has a large…

The Other Sides of My Life

Ok so this is going to be like my blog within my blog. I’m naming it, „The Other Sides of My Life“. It will be about my life, when I’m not reading. Then I stopped at Wawa on my way to Trader Joe‘s and had a breakfast sandwich that was probably 400 plus calories. Why I’m Trying to Learn German On the way to Trader Joe‘s I listened to a…

This Man’s Proposed January Reads….. This year 2022, the number of books I have listed on my Goodreads Reading Challenge is the same as 2021 60 books. To reach that goal I need to read 5 books per month. After creating this site and reacquainting myself with authors I have read through the years, I am going to include in the books I hope to read books from those authors. In most of those cases it will be books I have missed in their series. My goal will be to read at least two of those books each month….
