So for the most part I was successful in finding dead people today. Well, not really dead people just their death certificates. I went to the State Archives and found about ten certificates for my wife’s extensive genealogical research. Another Trip to the Princeton Record Exchange!

So I spent the night tonight listening to a few tracks from most of the albums that I picked up today at the Princeton Record Exchange and watching the Falcons get destroyed by the Packers! I picked up a variety of albums, a few blues, some folk and bluegrass. Here they are: Walter Trout – livin’ everyday (1999) – a blues favorite love both his vocals and guitar playing! Blues Wednesday – Dave Hole, John Hurt and Bill Morrissey

So while I didn’t find any new blues artist today I did listen to some old favorites. First I listened to one of my favorite blues artists Australian slide guitarist Dave Hole. I listened to his most recent release on Blind Pig Records Rough Diamond. I’ve listened to this album several times and each time I like it a little more. Blues Wednesday – Tab Benoit is on that Night Train to Nashville

As I was heading down Hartford Road this morning toward the site I was going to in Medford, I was checking out the wooded wetlands along the way. After two days of rain they looked a lot like the Louisiana Bayou and I knew I had the right CD playing, Night Train to Nashville by Tab Benoit. This is a favorite (aren’t they all?) and captures Benoit at his best. The album has a great mix of music (I’ll write more about the album tomorrow when I get my notes!) Sunday Shopping Mix

So shortly after the birth of our third son Peter, my wife said that she had had it with grocery shopping and since I know what I’ll eat or want, I can do the shopping!
